About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Network Engineer to join our Technology Operations team. The Network Engineer will ensure 24x7 availability, performance, and scalability of network infrastructure across both on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, Azure). This role involves hands-on design, deployment, support, and optimization of enterprise networks supporting B2B and B2C operations. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Security, NOC, Cloud, and other IT teams to deliver highly reliable network services.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Operations & Monitoring: Ensure 24x7 availability and performance of all corporate, data center, and cloud networks. Proactively monitor network health and respond to incidents, working with NOC and Security teams as needed.

• Configuration & Troubleshooting: Execute work orders to configure, upgrade, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortigate), load balancers (F5 BIG-IP), and Wi-Fi infrastructure (including Cisco Meraki). Perform IP re-addressing, NAT, and level-one diagnostics. Engage Cisco TAC for advanced support.

• Network Design & Implementation: Prepare schematics and define solutions for new sites, expansions, and cloud integrations. Implement both physical and logical network architectures.

• Cloud Networking: Design, deploy, and support network solutions in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), including VPCs, subnets, VPNs, cloud firewalls, and hybrid connectivity.

• Vendor & Asset Management: Coordinate with vendors for support, renewals, and hardware lifecycles. Participate in vendor consolidation and MA renewals for network devices.

• Collaboration & Preventive Maintenance: Work with NOC team on preventive circuit re-routing ahead of scheduled ISP maintenance. Pre/post checks and troubleshooting. Participate in cross-team efforts to resolve issues quickly.

• Network Security: Support deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of network security devices. Ensure compliance with IT security best practices.

• Automation & Documentation: Maintain device inventory and up-to-date documentation. Use automation tools (Shell scripting, Ansible, Python, Terraform) to optimize and standardize network operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience managing enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN).

• Experience configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortigate, F5, or similar networking platforms.

• Proven experience with public cloud networking (AWS and/or Azure): Able to design, implement, and troubleshoot cloud-based network infrastructure.

• Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, 802.11ac/x, NAT, VPN, VLAN, etc.).

• Experience with network monitoring and management tools (Cacti, Zabbix, Solarwinds).

• Scripting/automation experience (Shell, Ansible, Python, Terraform) is a strong plus.

• Ability to work on a 24x7 shifting schedule and participate in on-call rotations.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Preferred Skills

• Experience in both B2B and B2C network environments.

• Experience managing vendor relationships, device lifecycle, and support contracts.

• Experience supporting migrations, expansions, or office/data center moves.

• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, AWS/Azure Network Engineer, or similar.
